A summery of the ancient marinor so far

What’s happened so far is at the start of the story there was a wedding and then a massive storm came the the albatross saved them all they started playing with the bird and then a group of sailors on a boat and they seemed to stumble upon the albatross it had huge wings,  and watched it fly across the sky whilst helping them out of an ice burg but then the captain came out and shot the bird with a crossbow, no human has ever sailed across the sea before and their was no wind to push them, a couple minutes later they started to get hungry so the man put the albatross around his neck as if he were going to eat it.

  1. Hi Sa-Sean. This is a good start on a summary of the story. I wonder if you might also explain that the poem is made up of an account told by an old mariner to a man who is meant to be attending a wedding, but has been compelled to listen to him by the mariner. Also – I think the sailors put the albatross around the mariner’s neck as a punishment for killing it.
